Time vs Money

Time is Money is the saying which is heard lot of time. But is it true in terms of contributing to the country ? Probably not, lets see the reason and lets go with the assumption that every one love their country and have pride of being patriotic. But then most of middle, upper middle and rich class people have lots of money to donate to beggars, for good causes, to NGO's and to voluntary organizations but they never have time to spend in those activities where they have given money. Be it giving small amounts to beggar (middle class people) or donating big money to organizations (Reliance giving money to Satyameva Jayate, Azim Premji greatest Philanthropist).

Every where money is given and not the Time. Here people might say this money is obtained after giving some time so Time is more value. If one says so that Time is the main thing then why does not metrics be Time and why it should be Money ? Like X person or entity have spent 10 hours or 20 hours or 10 years or 1 day or such things rather than some X amount of money is been contributed ? Here this questions arises with the assumption that human mentality speaks about the most valuable entity or the most valuable thing they have accomplished when there has to be projection of positive things or to advertise themselves .

So every where Money is projected and not the Time which means Money is more valuable than Time.

If in the few things which are specified above people believe Time is more valuable than Money then they should be something as follows:

  • Middle class people will never give money to beggars but the they will think about those beggars how to better their life for a 1 second or a minute or couple of days or a week or a Month or an year rather than giving Money.
  • Reliance would have not got criticism and corruption charges one, corruption charges two and many such things(you can get more here) but it would have said that reliance spent so X amount of time in getting implemented Y number of projects, or reliance spent most of its time on country's developmental projects.
  • Azim Premji would have not become great Philanthropist but a great Leader(in politics)

This is an attempt to understand what is more valuable and not to criticize any of the entity.

So with these prepositions we can conclude that Money is Valuable but if we want to say Time is more Valuable then it has to be shown with Time metrics and not the Money metrics and also one can conclude that if any one says Time is more valuable and they do Money metrics contributions to the country they have to believe that they are not patriotic but they are practicing pseudo-patriotism.

Social working does not mean to be assisting with finance but also allocating some time to educated needy by educating themselves.
