There was never dearth of great patriots in India probably they have not been given their credit or probably they were not looking for credit rather they were looking for the result that they were bringing to the table. India has seen many such things in its History few are:
- Shri Krishna: Lord Krishna tried to do compromise sacrificing his dignity and respect with blasphemy done by Duryodhana in Drutarashtra court, which enabled to change the rules of game where Pandavas had not to feel the guilty of wrong doing in fighting against their own kith and kin and respectable Gurus.
- Chanakya: He is a great visionary of Bharath. It is really unimaginable that a person can have a vision in the period of 370–283 BCE to unite a part of land to be called as Bharath. It was the period where no internet, no proper public transport and no communication but he was able to unite all the forces that were required to such a great artistic work. One can understand him with his tactics and diplomacy. With his complete life sacrifice he was able to change the rules of game by making an entity called Bharath. - Bhagat Singh: Some how I feel his sacrifice is very painful. He in fact changed the rules of Game after which Indian National Congress had to change their strategy and ask for Complete Independence rather just not comprimising for Dominion status after which it led to the Quit India Movement. - Iron Man of India (Bismarck of India): Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel changed the rules of the game of Independent India after British left country it was a kind of chaos in political structure with many cultures, religions, rulers dividing India into groups with his integration however the sacrifice he had to make was the position what Jawaharl Nehru got. Many still feel that he was best suited for prime ministerial post compared to Nehru because of their difference of opinions.
- Jayaprakash Narayan: He became significant player in changing the rules of game of Politics in India till when it was dominated by dynasty politics of Nehru family. He is mainly remembered for his movement peaceful Total Revolution after which many new political parties came into existence with his idealogy such as Janata Party, Bharatiya Janata Party, Janata Dal. Which gave options to people of India in democratic elections.
- Loksatta movement: Due to change in times and circumstances not any more single persons are changing the rules of Game but a similar ideological view people are changing the rules of Game, which is why in this instance a group is mentioned rather than associating it with one person. If one has to associate a name then it would be Jayaprakash Narayan. The introduction of RTI act with its contribution changed the rules of game wherein every one is able to get in the information and are making system more answerable. Later Loksatta movement changed into Political party which in terms of votes probably very less as of now but with its opinions has become a major party in the state of Andhra Pradesh and spreading slowly to other states. It is displaying a lot of sacrifice to stand tall even though they are not been given support with votes in changing the rules of game where politicians has to change their agenda and are forced to become more transparent.
- IAC: This is the latest baby into this list which is slowly becoming prominent and changing the rules of game by strong awarness to people against corruption that is been adopted across all political parties. As new times have already started as seen Loksatta movement it can also not be attributed to single person and it is atrributed to the anger of people of India against corruption which is slowly taking a shape in the form of a political party after movement of Anna and his Team.
The last two items becomes prominent to discuss at this moment as they are present they are developing into the political parties where there is a feeling that they may not win sufficient seats and form a governement. Which is why this blog has been written that these entities are majorly important because of their sacrifice that they are forcing to change the rules of Game. Now every political party are forced to project more honest names in their political structure rather than just people who have money. Otherwise politics was just a career of only for the rich persons.
