After Covid-19 era the movie and film industry has gone into lot of changes in India. And there is a lot of talk about Bollywood. And it has taken lot of beating.
I'm not going into details of why the Bollywood debate happened or happening. But I strongly feel the time has come to redefine brand Bollywood. World knows Bollywood as from India. And it still has good name around the world. However, not many know the origin of the name Bollywood.
So before every one start getting the origin of the name let's change the origin of the name. It was from Bombay (Bombay name does not exist any more) as Bollywood, for those who doesn't know it is now Mumbai.
Similarly lets change the origin of Bollywood to Bharat (so the new origin of B in Bollywood be Bharat). Now it will cover all the movie industry of Bharat. World also needs to understand that the new Bollywood has several languages orginating from Bharat.
We don't need any more B(ombay)ollywood and we surely need B(harat)ollywood.
